Notify and Listen
The Notify and Listen components are used together. They pass data through the context of the current graph run. They don't send external notifications or persist data between runs.
Both components are in beta.
Notify component
The Notify component stores input data under a context key and activates Listen components that use the same key.
Strings, objects, messages, tables, and data frames are normalized to Data.
| Input | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Context Key | String | Required | Key used to store and retrieve the data during the graph run. |
| Input Data | Data, JSON, Message, DataFrame, or Table | Empty | Data to store. |
| Append | Boolean | false | Add the value to a list under the key instead of replacing the existing value. |
The JSON output returns the normalized input data.
Listen component
The Listen component retrieves data stored under its Context Key. The key must exactly match the Notify component's key. If the key has no value, the JSON output returns empty data.
You can pass the output to another component, such as If-Else.
