Serping API

tip

This bundle is not included in the default uv pip install langflow install. Add it with:

  1. Run uv pip install lfx-serpingapi.
  2. Restart Langflow.
  3. To confirm the bundle loaded, run lfx extension list.

To install every no-Torch opt-in provider at once, run uv pip install "langflow[bundles]". For the full opt-in list, see Additional bundles.

For more information, see Install LFX with bundle components.

Bundles contain custom components that support specific third-party integrations with Langflow.

This page describes the components that are available in the Serping API bundle.

This component runs a web search through the Serping API and returns the organic Google results.

Get an API key from serpingapi.com. For details on the underlying API, see the Serping API documentation.

It outputs the results as a Table with title, link, snippet, and position columns. The text of each row is the result snippet. If the request fails, for example because the API key is missing or invalid or the monthly quota is used up, the table contains a single row with an error column that describes the problem.

In tool mode, the component exposes a single tool named serpingapi_search that an Agent component can call with a search query.
